How You Can Get A Replacement FENSA Certificate

If you watch much television, you may have spotted an advertising campaign by the Fenestration Self Assessment Scheme (FENSA).

Their advert is designed to inform householders in the market for new windows and doors that they should only appoint a FENSA approved window and door specialist to fit them, like Hazlemere (FENSA registration number 10589), and primarily for two reasons.

Firstly, all FENSA installers are regulated and continuously monitored by FENSA’s experienced team of assessors to check that their work is up to industry standards and complies with current building regulations. You therefore know that they will do a good job.

Secondly, only an approved member of FENSA can certify the installation with your local authority and provide you with an official FENSA certificate once the project has been completed.

This certificate is a very important document as it proves that an installation has been properly certified and satisfies current building regulations. All you have to do is input the postcode of the property, house number/name, and the FENSA certificate ID number (if you know it). If details of the installation are found, once payment details have been submitted it usually takes around 7-14 days for the replacement certificate to be delivered.
