Hazlemere commence massive showroom refurbishment

We were rather busy expanding for the long term in 2010, acquiring the 58,000 square foot factory next door, and renting out the “old” 12,791 square foot factory behind the current 4,000 square foot home improvement showroom. We are going to be even busier in 2011, by doubling the size of our showroom.

The substantial changes to the Building Regulations that came into effect on 1st October 2010, have had a massive knock-on effect on the design and specification of double glazing products in the UK. In the last 12 months, the majority of replacement double glazed windows and doors have undergone (and are still going through) radical change. The outcome for manufacturers who have invested in compliant products, is a much higher technical specification, better thermal efficiency, with the resultant increases in prices that these even higher quality products cost, as many utilise much more expensive materials.

As Hazlemere prides itself that customers can see the quality of products before ordering them, the company is capitalizing on the opportunity created by the major changes to the UK Building Regulations to refurbish it’s existing showroom with new high spec products, plus double it’s size, to enable the company to offer customers the latest most technologically advanced products and designs, plus display a wider range of very high quality replacement windows, replacement doors, conservatories, orangeries, roofline, awnings and canopies.

At present Hazlemere Windows Showroom has on display both UPVC and aluminium conservatories. When the showroom refurbishment is finished, it will also contain a unique bespoke orangery design, along with the highest energy saving, energy efficient double glazed windows and doors available in the marketplace. Independent double glazing manufacturers and installers Hazlemere have already invested in a very high quality range of composite front doors, back doors, stable doors and composite French doors. These are on display in Hazlemere’s Showroom on Cressex Business Park which is open seven days a week, along with their “A” rated UPVC and aluminium windows, plus residential UPVC and aluminium replacement front, back, patio, sliding and folding doors.

Hazlemere will keep as much of the showroom open throughout their major refurbishment (which will take several months), so trusts customers who do come along before the Summer will understand there may be a little disruption to what is on display.
