Mr and Mrs C live in Pinner, a suburb in the London Borough of Harrow, and wanted to replace their old conservatory. They got talking about the idea to one of their neighbours and discovered that they had a conservatory built by Hazlemere in 2016. Curious to know if they would recommend our company for the project, they didn’t hesitate to say “yes”.
They acted on their advice and got in touch with the Hazlemere team for assistance. Our initial discussion with the couple was used to learn more about their property, the current conservatory, and their desires for the replacement design.
We discovered from talking to the pair that any new conservatory design needed to allow for the support of a bay window above it. Introducing them to our software, we created some potential concepts on screen that would cater for this. The final visuals produced a pre-sale look virtually identical to how the finished conservatory looks.
They eventually settled on a solid roof extension with glazed panels and opening roof vents, aluminium windows and doors in anthracite grey, and French doors so they can open the space to the beautiful garden.
The homeowners had all levels raised as part of the project including the external patio to the same level as the property to ensure they can make a seamless transition each time they fancy a change of scenery and want to exit the structure for the outdoors.
One element of the design they’re particularly pleased with is the tall French doors and how they add so much light to the house, summing them up by saying this: “They look fantastic”.
